Part 1: My Why – The Heart Behind Offering Oncology Facials

Hands performing a gentle oncology facial for a cancer patient in a supportive spa environment

When I decided to become an esthetician, I knew I wanted to help people feel beautiful in their own skin, but it was deeper than that. Skincare, for me, has always been about healing, nurturing, and creating a space where people feel safe, seen, and supported.

This offering is personal. My mom bravely fought cancer for over a decade. My best friend, Claudia, passed away from cancer in 2018. And I carry the BRCA gene myself. This isn’t just a service I decided to add - it’s been written on my heart from the beginning.

In fact, this has been a goal of mine since I started esthetics school. Claudia was still alive, and I saw firsthand how much she needed gentle, loving care. I promised myself that one day, I would create a safe space where people navigating cancer could come to feel comforted and cared for.

Offering oncology facials is a way for me to honor my mom’s strength, remember Claudia’s beautiful spirit, and embrace my own journey. I want every person who walks through my door, especially those touched by cancer, to know that they are worthy of peace, pampering, and profound care.

This service is rooted in love. Always.
